Meat cutlet




It's a tasty snack item that we can prepare very easily. It can serve as party appetizer and also as evening snack. Cutlet is common snack item in everywhere especially veg cutlet but meat cutlet not that much familiar. 

This is basic non veg cutlet preparation you can adjust ingredients as your taste. 

 

 

 

Ingredients

Meat (beef, chicken, mutton)                                        : 200g

Turmeric powder                                                         : ½ tsp

Peper powder                                                               : 1 tsp

Garam masala                                                               : ½ tsp

Potato (medium size)                                                     : 2

Onion                                                                            : 2

Green chilli                                                                   : 3

Chopped Ginger                                                            : 1 tsp

Chopped garlic                                                              : 1 tsp

Curry leaves and coriander leaves                                 : 1 tbsp

Salt

Egg                                                                               : 2

Bread crumbs                                                               : 1 ½ cup

Oil for fry

 

Preparation

  1. Cook meat with turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala, salt and enough water. Mince cooked meat and keep aside

  2. Boil potato with ¼ tsp of salt and mash

  3. In a pan heat 3 tsp of oil and fry onion until it turn golden colour

  4. Add green chilli, ginger, garlic separately , then add ¼ tsp of pepper (optional) , salt and saute for 3-5 minute

  5. Add minced meat and saute for 3 minute

  6. Finally add mashed potato, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Mix well and turn off flame and let it cool

  7. Divide this mixture equally into small balls. Flatten this ball with your palm. With this mixture we can make around 12- 15 cutlets

  8. In a bowl mix egg (instead off egg we can use all purpose flour batter. But it should be loose not thick  ) and keep aside

  9. Heat oil in a pan at medium flame

  10. Dip the cutlet in egg and then coat with bread crumbs. Fry till both sides evenly golden brown

  11. Drain and place in kitchen tissue paper

  12. Serve hot with sauce
