Petti pathil/ Petti pathiri








Ingredients
All purpose flour : 1 ½ cup
For chicken
Chopped chicken breast : 200g
Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
Pepper powder : 1 tsp
Garam masala : ½ tsp
For filling
Oil : 2 tsp
Chopped onion : 2/3 (depends on size)
Chopped green chilli : 1 tsp
Chopped garlic : 1 tsp
Chopped ginger : 1 tsp
Turmeric powder : ¼ tsp
Chilli powder : ½ tsp
Curry leaves and coriander leaves : 1 tbsp
Salt
Hard boiled egg : 2
Oil for fry
Preparation

Cooke chopped chicken with turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala, salt and enough water

Cook well and make sure all water dried up.

Fry onion in a separate pan with 2 tsp of oil then add green chilli, ginger, and garlic saute well

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt saute well

Add cooked chicken, curry leaves and coriander leaves mix well and keep for few more minute. Turn of the fire and let it cool

Cut boiled egg into two half and keep aside

Mix all purpose flour, salt and enough water to make soft dough, knead the dough until it smooth.

Divide kneaded dough into 12 part and each piece roll into a ball

With the help of rolling pin make very thin chapattis
-
Take 2 tsp of chicken filling spread it on chapathi and place half egg at centre
-
Place another chapathi on top of it and seal with your hand or press around with fork
-
Drop in hot oil and fry both side until it turns golden brown
-
Drain on kitchen tissue paper and serve hot
